She's in...

OK, I must admit, I was sold the second I closed the diaper up and took one look at how incredibly sweet she looked with that little poofy pink hiney!!!! All other logic flew right out of my brain and I just snuggled her up with that soft little butt. Then I ran to show my husband how cute it was and even he agreed it was pretty adorable!

Hi Carisa,
Mama Bear here.

I've been debating cloth diapering for a couple months. After thinking about it I always conclude that, I don't like laundry, my husband does it half the time on his days off so do I really want to add another chore to the list and pass on the convenience of disposables.
NO.
I read your last post on cloth diapering and even checked out Bum Genius. I'm sold on the product, just not sold on myself.
My husband and I had a brief discussion about it and he doesn't believe the savings benefit (extra electricity for washing, initial cost), that I will actually keep on top of the diaper laundry duty every couple days. He said cause he's not touching the diaper laundry. I don't blame him, he does so much already. I don't blame him because I get the look when he's out of underwear in his drawer.

AND that I will basically give up on cloth diapering.

I'm like you or like you WERE. I don't cloth diaper.

I'm really not that domestic. I have a hard time just keeping up with regular chores.

I just don't know how my mom and grandmother did it all? I feel super lazy and selfish thinking about how they did so much hard work back then and I can't even seem to keep up with my automatic do it for you lifestyle.

Look at what I'm doing to myself, all over cloth diapering.

aahhhh! silly me.

Isn't that funny? CLoth diapers are so much cuter than disposables. My husband thinks I crazy sometimes, because I think they are so cute.

I used Bumgenius with my son and loved them! I have a feeling you will be buying many more in your future. I liked the pockets better than the All-in-one's.

I agree she look sweet as soda-pop! Enjoy the savings! The washing is not that bad because you really don't have to worry about wrinkles - dry them as you sleep if you are desperate. I bet your oldest could even help you put them out to dry on a rack on your new porch. You also don't have to fold since they are so well shaped. I agree with Jennifer on the pocket style - it keeps your covers working longer.
